The Maine Beach House brings the Dubai-born brand's New England seafood spirit straight onto the sand at Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah. It feels bright and cheery, with crisp white finishes, nautical touches, wooden decks, macrame lamps and red and white striped sunbeds lined up a few steps from the water. Cabanas and a breezy palm-framed terrace look out across the Arabian Gulf.
The crowd is relaxed and mixed: Palm residents, friends settling in for long lunches, families and even dogs, which are welcome outside with their own menu. Music comes from a curated Maine playlist, with live DJs or jazz on some nights and a DJ every Tuesday for the Clam Jam ladies' night. You can even arrive by boat.
A sunbed day pass starts from AED 150 on weekdays and goes fully towards food and drinks, from lobster rolls and fish tacos to the day's catch picked at the fish market counter. Sunbeds are AED 150 Monday to Thursday and AED 200 Friday to Sunday, fully redeemable on food and drinks, with cabanas AED 50 per person extra.
Come late morning when the beach opens at 11, take a slow seafood lunch, then stay for the 5 to 7 oyster and cocktail happy hour and watch the sun go down over the water.
